About PSMFC

Empowering Zambian public servants with affordable financial solutions since 2013.

Who We Are

The Public Service Micro Finance Company (PSMFC) is a Zambian government-owned microfinance institution established on March 13, 2013. We were created with a singular purpose: to provide affordable loans and innovative financial solutions to government workers.

Many public servants face barriers when accessing conventional banking services due to high lending rates. PSMFC bridges this gap by offering competitive rates and flexible terms designed specifically for the needs of government employees.

Operating from our Lusaka headquarters, we have served thousands of public servants across Zambia, disbursing millions in loans while maintaining our commitment to affordability and accessibility.
